Maybe you have seen a picture or vision in your mind’s eye and then later experienced something similar in real life… These are all signs that you might be spiritually awakening.
If you have ever felt, seen or heard messages for you or someone else without using your physical senses, welcome to the energetic world! Energy is invisible to the physical eyes, but it is very real none-the-less. When your friend tells you a story that “feels” very true to you and you get goosebumps all over your physical body, this is a confirmation that energy is working through your sixth sense or intuition.
What is Clairvoyance?
The “Clair’s” are gifts that are tied in to the energetic body. This extrasensory perception gives us a leg up on gaining information about objects, persons, locations and physical events.
Clairvoyance is the ability to clearly SEE something about an event, person or thing with a deeper knowledge which can help us make better decisions for ourselves.
Clair means clear and voyance means vision. SEEING in the mind’s eye through Clairvoyance is just one way that we can tune in to energy. And it is totally possible to develop your clairvoyance with time. Some are even born with this ability.
Signs That You Are Clairvoyant
Here are some common signs that you might be clairvoyant:
You see flashes or colors, numbers, locations or people
You are shown symbols that may not make sense initially
A mental image may flash before you
You can see a glowing light around people, otherwise known as an aura
Tiny blobs of light seem to float in the air around you, known as orbs
It sometimes seems like shadows float past you
You tend to like to plan things out visually
You might be great with directions

How are the Clair’s or Psychic Abilities Accessed?
The “Clair’s” are usually accessed through the heart/mind connection. What I mean by this is the heart and the mind must be open and connected in order for you to access these gifts. So you must be willing, believing and trusting.
Many people have a very difficult time with accessing their sixth sense because we are taught to only trust what we can see, hear and feel in the physical world. (For example… that wall is there because I can FEEL it). Most people start to figure out at some point along their journey that there is more to our existence than just the physical realm. This is when they have their “opening” or spiritual awakening and they remember that they are energy or spirit.
Your Spiritual Opening
It can be a little nerve-racking and can often shake your foundation when you “open up.” Suddenly, you realize that the physical form is just a shell (our automobile getting us around), but inside the shell is the spirit (the driver of the car). Your energetic form is actually very peaceful, wise and all-knowing. It is highly intelligent and knows what it needs in order to be peaceful and happy. Your energy form gives you wisdom at all times, and all you have to do is start listening and utilizing these gifts!

Free Meditation to Access Your “Clair’s”
Surrender is really the key to any kind of meditation practice and this is especially true as you develop your clairvoyance. Once you understand that the first step to connecting to your spirit is to release your tight hold of your personal identity and your perceptions of the physical world, then you will shift into the proper state of consciousness needed to open to a higher state of awareness. Reaching that higher state means you are tuned in, tapped in and ready to receive messages from your higher self!
There is no right or wrong way to meditate in order to access the “Clair’s,” but the real key to becoming a good receiver is that you must reach that zero point, the point where you are completely empty. In this state, you don’t have any attachment to anything or anyone. You don’t wish for anything or desire anything (you release the mentality of “I want”). You reach a state of quiet, calm and peace. It’s a place of halfway (picture the middle of positive and negative- the zero point).
Simply set your intention on accessing and developing your intuition to find out which of the Clair’s are your most natural. We each work with them in different ways. Some of us use only one and others of us use a few or all. When you first start out in meditation, it is crucial to have a very open heart and to smile!
To Start the Meditation
Sit in a comfortable chair and close your eyes.
Take 3 deep breaths in and out, each time, your shoulders dropping.
Relax your body completely and let everything go.
Now in your mind, ask a question about something challenging in your life.
Access Your Clairvoyance
Use your mind’s eye and see if any picture forms for you. You may see sparks of light or swirls of color at first. Or, you may see a complete image form. Take note of this image as it is a message from your spirit.
Access Your Clairsentience
Now become aware of your feelings in your body. Do you feel anything anywhere in your body? Put your awareness on that part of your body and try to lock in and describe what the feeling is and where it’s coming from.
Access Your Clairaudience
Next listen for a message from your spirit. Are you hearing any particular word or phrase or even a song? This message may be guidance or just a loving message for you.
Access Your Clairgustance
Shift your awareness to your taste in your mind and make note of any message that might be coming through your higher wisdom about what you need to know. Is there a message in the taste that you are experiencing?
Access Your Clairalience
Allow your spirit to pickup any smells that might be coming through. Is there a significance to the smell? Does it remind you of anyone or anything?
Access Your Claircognizance
Finally, observe your sense of knowing. Do you have a sense of knowing that something is very true for you? What is it that you need to recognize as true for you?
Only ask the most pressing questions and then close down by thanking your energy and spirit for providing you with this clarity.
Sit in quiet for a moment and reflect.
Open your eyes and move your hands and feet when you are ready.
