Learn more about the healing qualities and meaning of Blue Diamond
Meditating with Blue Diamonds
The blue diamond is a member of the Carbon family and is the hardest substance known. This could be why diamonds often symbolize strength. Natural blue diamonds contain the element boron (B) which changes the conductivity of the diamonds. Conductivity is important to fellow meditators because when you go into a meditative state, you open yourself up and become a vessel for information to flow through you. Anytime you hold a substance that “conducts” energy in a different way, it’s important to know how and what it does so that you can achieve what you desire from the meditation. Diamonds in general, increase inner strength and provide the wearer with balance, clarity and abundance. Blue diamonds have a Biblical meaning and provide a state of grace in the highest vibrational form. It’s important to note that some blue diamonds have been found to be natural semiconductors. This is important for energy workers to know as we work with aligning, expanding, and being aware of our magnetic field. Most other diamonds are electrical insulators.
Famous Blue Diamonds
One of the most famous blue diamonds is the Hope Diamond. It was stolen in 1762 from the French Crown Jewels during the French Revolution. There are many other famous rare Blue diamonds including the Regent (Faint Blue), Hope, Wittelsbach, Sultan of Morocco (Greyish Blue), Blue Heart, Heart of Eternity and the Transvaal Blue. These special diamonds respresent regalness and a richness of the self. The Greek word for diamonds, adamas, means invincible. Diamonds can help you tap into that part of you that dares to dream. You can use diamonds to help you focus your intentions on your true desires. Diamonds have a cleaning and clearing effect, so you can use them to clear your energetic field.

How Blue Diamonds are Made
Most blue diamonds sold today are not natural blue diamonds. The majority of them were created by a process called irradiation. As this process is performed, radiation changes the diamond’s color. Irradiation is a man-made way to recreate the natural, diamond producing conditions that existed within the Earth millions of years ago. Natural blue diamonds are very difficult to come across. Diamonds are created out of pure carbon and are among the purest crystals that can be obtained in nature. The purity of this stone helps you bring a sense of clarity to all matters. It helps us with admitting when we are wrong and helps with our perceptions and unreal expectations.
Meditating with Blue Diamond Energy
If you can’t get ahold of a rare blue diamond, you can either meditate with the thought of the blue diamond, or use a regular diamond. Allow the energy of the diamond to help clear you. Let the strength in the diamond show you how to tap into your higher self to find your truth. Allow any negative perceptions to be seen through a pure state. Now once you have cleared all expectations, surrender to the high vibrancy of the stone. Allow it to show you how to raise your energy level and bring yourself to a state of invincibility. Dare to pick out a desire, a dream that your spirit is calling out for. The stone is helping you cast out any negative thoughts that might creep in and instead see the clear way to having what you truly desire. As you do this, you are showing your spirit that you love yourself completely. This is the ultimate act of compassion towards the self.
